GLA

As of Monday 10 March, Servisair handle Air Contractors/FedEx in GLA (and everywhere else in the UK except BHX where FedEx self-handles).

EDI

It's Europe Airpost (callsign French Post), not "French Aeropost". As an Air Contractors subsidiary, it might well go to Servisair too.

aviance contracts

Hi everyone i work for Aviance, Delta will be leaving us on the 28th of April and then that will just leave us with BMI and BA and SN BRUSSELS, i'm not sure whats going to happen with Aviance at Manchester nobody will tell us anything as usual. I just hope that things pick up before the end of the year, if anyone knows anything more please do tell.:{

SAS MD80 15th April 2008 23:01

Sas/sgs Man

SAS Ground Services will no longer provide handling in MAN as of 01 MAY, not even for SK Airlines

LN / ED / CF and SK will all be handled by Servisair.

Ticket Desk and Station supervision will be the only representation for SAS in MAN.

EC-ILS 16th April 2008 11:19

Changes at DUB also Servisair have taken JN from Aviance although I think that suits Aviance as it meens no night shift and SHP have taken Air Baltic from Servisair.

1station 17th April 2008 00:07

As of last Sunday Flight Support have taken Flybe under wing as well as existing overwing.

New Handler Buying Another This Week

I have been informed that Alba Ground Handling company will buy out another handler in Scotland,
Talks have been going on for the past few months and Alba will buy out the business,it will continue to be called Alba and will put Alba in all Scottish stations by next few months.

I will keep informed.

Gerry Alba 17th April 2008 10:25

Not on your nelly m8.

Alba are not buying any other ground handling company out.:=

As far as other ground handling companies go,some will wind down ,as we are seeing at GLA, but other handling companies will take that business on ( probably at an even cheaper rate to stop others getting it).

I must say Alba are not interested in that approach.
Alba will expand its business and the rumour`s will continue.
We have a great relationship with Flyglobespan and Virgin Atlantic Airways
and will grow at both GLA & EDI.

Watch this space for more info soon.:)
"Remember if you see someone without a smile give them one of yours"
(Alba company saying)
