So where is the Money then?

Lets pull some threads together;

Most of us are all pretty well skilled (and work our backsides off!).....so wheres the money?

Let me start this one off; SE Charter Ops (Commercial Airliner); Ops Controller 26K then next supervisor at 32K, up from there.......whoops, end of ladder!

I have a friend at United Technologies; Fligh Ops Coordinator: $75.000.

Anyone else fancy throwing in some data?

But $75,000 is only about £38,000 in UK money but I guess as the USA is cheaper it goes a lot further than it does here. So in real terms I would say it would be about £50,000, not bad though for an Ops job!

UTC Flt Dept

Plse specify what degrees yr chum holds, most of the folks at UTC hold at min FAA Dispatch, degree in avtn/business studies etc. I worked with, and conferenced with these folks for nearly 18 yrs, good people as are all large US Corp Flt Depts from Coke, AIG to City Flt etc.

Chaps - dont get me wrong; my post wasnt a "....look how well my chum gets paid..." exercise!

It is just here to share info on who gets paid what!

We all share (more or less) a common knowledge and responsability - it is just good to know how renumeration varies!

Thats all!
