Dispatch / Load Planning / Turnround Manager

Working for BA on customer services for 10 years, I want to shoot my career forward into Dispatch (either Load Planning or TRM) but find that every application I put in gets rejected without giving me the opportunity of an interview.

Are there any evening college courses in aviation studies in the Gatwick or Heathrow environments where I could get a good knowledge and understanding of Operations procedures?

I just think that if I showed an active interest in pushing my career, it might help with the selection people!

Thank you for your help!

hi bealine,

If you find information about college courses in aviation , could you please let me know. I would be interested in taking a degree/certificate ....in this field.
I own a french load planner/flight dispatcher certificate. Here we get a lot of seasonal contracts (1 to 7 months) and it seems that if you dont have somme kind of degree you are bound to stay an "ordinary" agent and never got to higher positions...
Thanks
