Dispatcher license to Comercial Pilot

Hi,

I have a dispatcher license and also a navigator of the Portuguese air force, my question is do these qualifications contribute for the issuance of a comercial pilots license or at leats for the theoretical part of the course?

Hi,

I also have a jaa dispatch license, i work for more than 7 years as a flight dispatcher in the netherlands.
To fly commercial i had to complete the whole atpl-course ( all 14 theory )

good luck

well, there are different ways of handling this throughout europe.
in germany for instance when you hold a dispatch licence some atpl subjects can be kind of credited, i.e. you won´t have to write an exam in flight planning and met.
but for the rules in portugal simply ask your c.a.a.
cheers ralle
