TEMPO - weather will temporarily be between specified times

Is that not, will be for up to but not exceeding 30 mins in any 60 min period, ie a la BBC, factor 30 needed if you go out, make it waterproof, sunshine and showers all day ;)

Next up from PROB40, still hedging their bets......................

Expat abroad 5th December 2006 16:14

TEMPO can be for any time period, but the change mentioned will be for a maximum of half the time perioed. ie. TEMPO 0612 -RA will give you the probability of light rain for a maximum of 3 hours during 0600 and 1200, but which 3 hours is not known :)

TEMPO relates to temporary deteriorations (or improvements) of less than an hour.
