Basically Jet2.coms leader has decided in his wisdom to move the operations to Leeds (main base). Thinking that his dedicated and hard working team would follow him 300 miles up the country (many been there since the days of the electra!). Guess What, not many taking up his great offer due to a multitude of reasons (do a search). Pay wise, I am guessing his reason to move up North was to cut wages eventually so I am not sure what will be offered. Then again he will become a bit desperate around the end of the year so if you have and experience at all you could name your price. At the moment pay is short of Easy and places like Excel. T&c's Pension is about it (for what they are worth), no performance bonus etc. Working condition with crew etc good at moment, but prepare for a bit of friction in the forseeable future. Smirnoff my advice to you would be to look at it again next year, wait for the dust to settle....
