US to UK??

Gentlemen (and Ladies),

The lovely wife and I are discussing a move from the US to UK sometime in the not too distant future. I'm English and my wife loves it there so we are thinking a move may be a good experience for the kids even if it's only for a few years.

Here in the US I am a First Officer on an Airbus A300 for a cargo airline. I have worked in aviation for close to 15 years doing everything from FBO & flight school management to airline baggage services to airline and corporate pilot. If we do relocate I would obviously hope to remain in aviation, but would not hold a JAA pilot license (at least not initially). I am wondering what kind of jobs in the UK my experience would qualify me for? I am very interested in what we in the US refer to as "Dispatch", ie the guy who does the weather, flight planning etc. for an airline. I'm also very interested in training, whether it be aircraft ground/sim training or training of airline ground support staff.

Thanks for any observations/advice/criticism/support!

BBD
