training

Hey Folks,

I recently applied for a part-time course in flight ops in Bolton Street DIT college in Ireland. Due to lack of interest in the course it was cancelled. I have a PPL and am interested in all aspects of airports and operations. What routes are open to me in the training dpt. (inc. by correspondence) and what advancement prospects are there in airport operations thereafter? I wish to study for my ATPL's as well but really want to start working in the industry. This is a complete career change for me. I am 35 with a degree in commercial interior design. Any hope? I look forward to any advice from you people that I see buzzing about the airports in high viz waistcoats and walkie-talkies. Cheers all.
