Dispatch License

Dear All,

I am sorry if this is a reoccurring question but....

Where am i best to go to with regards to get a Dispatch License?????
There are many companies offering this around the world but thought would be best to ask on here before making any plans for the future.

I am currently a flight coordinator but am looking to progress myself into a fully Licensed Dispatcher.

Thank you in advance for all the advice and answers,

Dan

Hi,

Whilst I was at DHL Air, we sent our Ops team to Sheffield School of Aeronautics in Florida to gain their FAA Dispatch licence.
An excellent school with a good reputation.

Here's the link.

I think it's correct to say that not all countries have/require a government-issued dispatcher license but if one is required, doesn't it need to be issued by the government of the country in which you'd be dispatching ? Or maybe there are license conversions available ?

If you're thinking of coming to the USA for school, here's a pretty civilized forum with a very active dispatcher forum where training is discussed in detail:

You could go to Jeppesen in Denver to get it as well :
