SLS SITA Message - format example needed
Hi guys,
one of our customers requested us to start sending SLS (statistical load summary) messages. We have no experience with SLS in the past, so I would be greatful if anyone could help me with an example in regard to format and content. (or maybe PM me the relevant page of AHM588) We did get a few examples from other stations but they were all different and did not show the same format. Here is one example: SLS XX126/26.ABCDE.A320-214.FRA.26MAY17 -ABC.YY/114.GG/0.B/494.C/677.S/0.M/50+ I guess YY is PAX, B is baggage, C is cargo and M mail, but what does GG and S stand for ? Thanks in advance. Stefan |
Hi Planetick,
GG is the total number of non-revenue passengers. But I have another doubt about SLS messages: I thought the values of C, S and M were mandatory, but I have seen some examples where this values are empty. For example: SLS AB767/27.XYABC.840/322.ZRH.27AUG89 -LIS.YY/2/0.GG/2.B/26 -PBM.FF/a/a.YY/37/2.GG/3.B/821.C/778.M/270 So elements C, S and M are really mandatory? Thanks in advance, Elena |
Hi Elena,
Thanks for your hint with GG, now That's clear for me and only S missing. I can imagine some countries/Airlines/handler do not fill C,M,S If none of these is actually loaded in order to Safe type B characters. Stefan |
