Airside Comms

Would anyone with experience of Simoco DMR care to share their experience? I would particularly like to hear from anyone with experience of Simoco and other system/s.

Can't speak for Simoco but we have a handful of Motorola digital handhelds at our place. Lots of echo in transmissions. Quite durable too.

Not played with Simoco but have procured Motorola DMR mototrbo kit.
Have got DP3600 DM3600 and 3000??? Repeaters.
Usual Motorola quality, in digital mode there is a distinct delay but this is only noticeable when you have a lot of users in close proximity who can hear each other anyway. The battery life is very good. In DMR you Efectivly get two channels for the price of one. I have also noticed that accents seemed to be less noticeable??? Not sure why.
Anyway, am a fan of Motorola. Not the cheapest kit but dependable.
Have also heard good reports on Hytera kit

Thanks for the comments gents.

Does anyone else have any comments on their experience, good or bad, with DMR-type comms?
