DNATA LGW

Hi all,

Does anyone know what the situation is with dnata regarding ground handling?

Hearing so many rumours they actually haven't got a license or that they'll be buying out a current handler?

Many thanks

Very surprised if they don't have a license, wouldn't be surprised if they bought someone out. Plenty of backing behind them

They have been recruiting for various positions at LGW on their website.. Would have thought they defo going ahead.

Getting a licence is a paper excercise, and I`m sure they have somebody working on it.
The days when the Airport could restrict the number of ground handlers are over. Provided the company meets certain criteria, and I`m sure dnata will, they will get their LGW Ramp Handling licence, they already have Cargo.
