Seaplane Docking

Are there set procedures for docking and mooring aircraft? for flight crew and ground crew?

try asking on the ME Forum, where sea planes are in use

I do not know the answer, but would think it is rather pot luck.

Assuming a fixed landing stage, then if my sailing knowledge can be applied, then getting on to the berth is easy with wind either on or off the pontoon. Getting off, might be more traumatic, if the windage and engine torque conspire against one.
In the sailing world we have big fenders, and reverse prop with funny effects induced too, with prop wash, to assist, not certain as to the reverse options and their practicality.
No brakes, unless big guy on pontoon, with string.
