747-400 Runway Length

I know this varies but what is the required runway length for a 747-400 and full payload?

Is this on the internet anywhere?

Maybe you could add the OAT, QNH, Elevation, Runway Slope, surface state... err obstacles, engine type(s) ;)

I bet you weren't expecting it to be here:

I realise all of this, I was just wondering for a normal 747-400 taking off at sea level for example.

Reason for this is i'm developing a Airline Tycoon game, I have formula to calculate the distance between two points to see it's in side the range of a 747-400 (or any other aircraft in the game) but I don't want to enable people to run it between two small airports.

So what's the min length which you would use?

Well I'm no 747 pilot, but I'm guessing about 9000ft for a heavyish aircraft fuelled for a long flight, cool day, airport at sea level, no wind.

A Chris Sawyer in the making then? :)

as you metioned 747 400 (therefore pax operation)
payload 55000 kgs and max fuel - then 10500ft sl isa shud be ok
400f diff story
