Why are Emerald advertising again? I believe that this is the third time since July last year. Can they not keep their Ops Staff. Perhaps the rumours I hear about it not being a happy oufit are true then.

Anyone give me any gen before I apply?

Applied last year pay stated 14.5k to start rising to 16.5k after probation, not worth taking when I'm on 21.5k, but they do go throught their opsies..

Ive Just come of the phone from a mate at Biggin Hill and he reckons that a GA operator requires Ops controller’s for a new set up for a biz jet charter firm 24/7 shifts salary 23-24k... mi thinks I might look south

Thrust Bump 22nd Jul 2001 14:09

;) me thinks it's Goldair relocating from CBG - If so, they've bumped up the salary.

However, all aint gold and rosey

TicketyBoo 23rd Jul 2001 00:57

dada - probably not,

Sam - don't apply, unless you've been rejected by Aeroflot.

Hey folks, count yourself lucky. BFS Don't even get that. Why Do you think is so hard for them to get staff.

HomerSimpson 25th Jul 2001 03:02

I worked at Emerald in Ops a few years ago. I enjoyed every minute there. Unfortunately the pay was crap, but I wasn't there for the money, just the experience. I would return except I've changed sides, Im now looking for F/O positions.

;)

Did some digging myself and didn't apply.

Don't want to work for the person you mentioned Dada. Is he all there, know what I mean, nudge?

Are you who I think you are? If so, heartfelt congratulations on getting your CPL/IR, and I'm glad someone was enjoying themselves there!!!

P.S. don't worry, I'll make the tea again!
