Aussies expats in the 1920's,50's,60's

I am writing an essay on Australian personel who have worked overseas.
I would like to hear from anyone except pilots who have been involved in the aviaton industry (cabin crew, engineers, airport staff and management) in the 1950's, 1960's and anyone who can tell me a story about someone who was around in the 1920's.

Thank you
