Justapax was asking for new threads and I did one a while ago re airline food as we all are exposed to it in some degree while travelling so it is common to all SLF. So I thought about other common areas which we all share regardless of the airline we fly with or where you sit on the aircraft and is airport experience good and bad large or small. I know there is the other thread re airlines and routes but what I am driving at is the experience of transiting the airport and using it as a customer not looking at the aircraft or where they are flying to.

Before I put my own thoughts about the airports I like and the ones I don’t and why, I would like to see if other SLF think this thread is worth pursuing or does it tread too close to the other or perhaps a MOD could comment before we start ? I should say I have been involved in the construction of some so have a practical knowledge of some of the design issues involved. I would suggest also that we split between international HUBS like DXB and larger international and then regional as it’s unfair to directly compare them they should be ranked with their peers. Also when discussing the bad I think we can leave out bush strips world wide as though always interesting to fly out of they really are more of a unique experience rather then a regular commercial airport to a degree.
