Engineering Apprenticeships
Does anyone know which airlines are still offering apprenticeships?
Also does anyone know if helicopter compaines offer apprenticeships? Cheers |
It's not either, but although I don't work there anymore I still live close to Boscombe Down. Qinetiq, the "organisation" currently running it regularly advertises modern apprenticeships in aircraft Engineering in the local newspapers. I'm sure if you wrote to them at
Personnel department Qinetiq Boscombe Down Salisbury Wilts SP4 0JF They'll send you details. G |
Bristow helicopters have taken in people for last 2 years and as for fixed wing Virgin are taking B1's this september, may be age restrictions but check out respective websites fella, good luck!

BA have just started up their Engineering Apprenticeship scheme again.
Can highly recommend it. |
As you seem to hail from god's country, why not try the... ahem... "Academy of Aeronautical Engineering Excellence" which is being set up at Newcastle in a joint effort between Newcastle Aiport Authority, Kingston College, and a couple of failed ex-directors of Gill Airways who will no doubt leave the enterprise in the same condition that they left the aforesaid company after having bled it dry and relieved it of any grant money that had been given to set it up:yuk:
Good Luck |
