12 Year old Lycoming IO-540-K1GS
 

I am putting a dutch aircraft on the Irish reg or G reg, haven't decided yet. Can anyone advise me on the engine as it is reaching it's 12 years since overhaul this April and this may couse a problem in putting it on the EI or G reg ? There is 700 hrs on the engine since major overhaul in 2001.

The engine is Lycoming IO-540-K1GS L-21021-48A

If anyone has any links to docs or information on the added maintenance required on a 12 year old engine much appreciated.
