Courses in the USA - VISA?

Hi,
I am due to go to do the Lycoming Service School in Pennsylvania in September. As a UK citizen can I travel to do this course (4 day) under the Visa Waiver Programme?

There must be a few people on here who have been to the states for various courses and wondered if anyone can shed any light on this?

I have spoken to the US Embassy but they just gave me a list of conditions which where non too clear!

Cheers.

Being from England I thought you were granted entry with just a passport and good for 3-6 months. There is no crime in attending school just working. The student visas are usually used for a longer time period.

I did a course earlier this year in the US, 3 weeks, no additional visa was needed.

Many thanks chaps, looks like I should be ok to go on the standard waivered visa.

Cheers.
