A340/330 to A 320 Conversion Course

Do any one of you know about the conversion course being offered- from A 340/330 (Airframe and Engine) Full Scope to Airbus A 320 series with V2500 and CFM 56-5 Engine. I am already having ICAO Type 2 License endorsed for A340-300E/A330-200 Airframe and CFM56-5/RR772/CF6-80E1.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

check AMET Airline maintenance engineering training limited, they do offer some conversion courses and also you can arrange to set up a course with minimum students at your location.

thanks

Suppose I could do my own digging but better to hear it from a fellow AMT/AME, I know the CF6 eng's from the -6 through the 80C2.What advancement's does the E1 have over the C2? Is it on the A340-300E or the A330-200?

I can't tell what the differences between different versions of CF6 are, but the CF6-80E1 is on the 330 and CFM56-5 is on the 340-300

I'm being a pedant I know Vinay. But you don't hold an ICAO type II licence, no-one does. ICAO removed different licence types about 10 or more years ago. There is now only an ICAO maintenance licence full stop.
