Help Wanted:- H.S.A. AERIAL AMP.
Can anyone help me with info on the following item:-
H.S.A. Ltd Manchester series aerial amplifier, serial no. B3-70-68 Issue no. 3 DWG no 16207A Last tested 17-11-71 by BGA 316. I know its a "big ask" but does anyone remember working with the above type of equipment ?. If so can you answer the following questions:- What it the input (operating ) voltage What is the frequency range Is the amplification on receive only ( or TX too ) If it amplifies on transmit, what is the max input power What is the gain on RX ( & TX ) Where can I find more details ...circuit diagrams...manual I bought this item at a Radio Rally to use as spares, however upon examination found the unit to be in excellent condition. It would be a shame not to use this amp. for its primary use so any help would be most welcome. THANKS GUYS. |

Hi, I would suggest that you look at the input side and see what type of in-built transformer system it has...if its a lennear amp for use in aircraft it will most definately be 24v...
