Mogas

Are aerodromes responsible for testing Mogas for alcohol or is it purely down to PIC?

Thanks for any info

One hopes that airfields do their own fuel supply testing, purely as good practice. (Although in the UK, I can only actually think of one airfield with a MOGAS supply, everywhere else you take some jerry cans and buy your own locally.)

But, ultimately, it's entirely down to PiC to ensure that the aircraft - including the fuel on board - is fit for flight.

And PiC (GA) has to take the word of the jerry can topper upper as to the propensity of said fuel...
