Hughes Schweizer 300 Technical specifications

I am looking to purchase a 300 and need to know what to look for when evaluating the aircraft hours etc.

Get a engineer to do a survey for you listing what is likely to need replacing in the next many x hours.
If you are in the UK and struggling then PM me.

Maybe you should post this in the Rotorheads Section below for good advice....

H300 purchase

make sure you get a licenced engineer who knows a lot about these helicopters, preferably the engineer who will be maintaining it for you if purchased.
Check lifed components for correct part and serial numbers, make sure log books, history cards etc are given a good look over, take it for a fly with another experienced H300 pilot, compare it to another H300 as well, especially make sure it can preform to specs, don't get forget to look for mods that may not be written up.
Most importantly get a good reliable H300 experienced engineer to look at it for you...................
