TGT against EPR
 
Hi all,

anyone knows the actually relationship between EPR and TGT for a gas turbine engine?
any equation or formula to relate them?

No none that I know of.

With EPR set EGT can vary it depends how old/new/worn/dirty etc the engine is. As far as I am aware there is no direct relationship between the 2. Also depends where the EGT thermocouples are positioned, too many variables.

The relationship is that's it's rare to have one without the other.
