Pratt & Whit. diagrams/info
 

I am looking for engine specific information, diagrams, etc, on PW120A, 123, 123C turboprop engines. Have been searching the web, but have come up fruitless. The info in the company manual is too basic and broad. Anyone know where I can go to get some info?

Maybe these guys can help - might be a bit pricey though.

Thanks for the reply. I was searching around that site yesterday, but figure its probably a little pricey to buy 'em straight from pratt. I ran across some site called essco that seems to have manuals for sale, not sure what id be getting though.

You have to ensure that any information you purchase regarding the maintenance of (pretty much anything modern) is in line with current company revision status. You can buy outdated company Manuals/DVDs/CD-ROMs pretty much anywhere but there are many problems with this.

i) Outdated manuals contravene Aviation Authority regulations for signing off maintenance on said components etc

ii) DVDs and CD-ROMs often block the user when they have run for over one year so that you have to have the current copy to access the material.

iii) You have to be very specific over exactly what you want.

PWC Diagrams
 

These guys below over in Canada publish these cutaway diagrams.
The finish is excellent - not sure of cost though - size = $$$.

As Speedbird says, any uncontrolled maintenance documentation not subject to ammendment is for reference & training purposes only....

But hey... They do good diagrams! - And flightdeck layouts too.

Go to your MX and ask for the P&WC customer manual which is mx related but contains all the good diagrams and cuts plus the textual explanation.

I have based my engine summary on that information.

It is a book for the whole family of engines e.g. 120 to 127 and should not be too expensive. As I understand you want just some more insight and not really learn how to take that thing apart.

Thanks for all the info guys. I actually made contact with an engine program manager for a former dash operator here in the states and got some diagrams emailed to me. But im always on the lookout for more detailed schematics of the systems.
