BA Sponsored Degree Course
 

My lad is currently in 1st year A-levels adn having seen the ad in Tuesday's Guardian we thought it could be a perfect answer to his "how do I afford to do this course" question.
He wants to go on to Aeronautical Eng at Salford University and has already had a work experience placing at BAe, Woodford. The problem is that he isn't 18 years old until Sept 22 2000 and BA are asking for 18 by 1st Sept 2000.
What flexibility is there within BA Admin or should he wait for the folowing year?

The worst that can happen is they say no and he waits for another year. At least he'll have registered an interest.

Forget it, BA are a bl00dy awful employer...After 21 years they still suprise me with their total disregard for staff.

I have to agree with Le Pen, BA are absolutely crap to work for. They treat the engineers like s***. They are totally clueless, loads of engineers got fed up and all left to better jobs. I lasted 10 years, got the courses and licenses I wanted then left. I wiped my feet on the way out.
