Don’t know if it’s been brought up already, but, unfortunately, I've read today that Aberdeen based firm Caledonian Airborne Engineering is going into administration. It employs 100 staff, and the trigger probably was the loss of their BWA maintenance and repair contract, when BWA went into administration.

Very Sad, I believe the earlier collapse of Gill was a body blow, BWA the final straw. Good luck to all involved, hope it works out.

Does anyone know if there is any truth in the rumour that Mr Bond has virtually signed and sealed the lease on their hangar?

Heard that if Flightline get the shell deal,they will be after some of u guys by trying to employ u on **** poor terms as they figure u'll all need an income! Talk about taking advantage!!
