Thanks LAME.Isn't it amazing that 2 major carriers in aus are after something like total staff of 500 yet there isn't a peg in the QF turf or any advert from reggie.
I replied some time back that this whole excercise is to get govt/alaea approval to get work done overseas in exchange for an eba agreement for a few lobster lovers.

Yes, as I have said on other posts here and Dunnunda, I don't think that they are really looking very hard.

Ansett have been hiring for Brisbane and Melbourne but only really AMEs, they had an advert for Melbourne last week (AMEs only), and now all their hiring is going to be done through a recruitment agency, Forstaff, so that will probably not help either?

Been no adverts at all for Qantas, except for the work at Avalon, which is also handled by Forstaff.
