KX155A

We had a nice new KX155A fitted (box 1) to make us FM immune and IFR legal in our nice Private Cat Arrow.

But the intercom volume on box 1 is deafening. Box 2 (the old KX170B) is fine. The folks who fitted the KX155A don't know how to turn down the Intercom volume on it.

Anyone know anything? It'a "bog standard" Arrow III apart from the new radio.

Check it hasn't been wired for helicopter level intercomm (via aux audios?)? Not sure if the 155 has the option - 175 did (does). I've got a diagram for it somewhere.
Are you using an ASP? Have you also got a separate I/Comm amp?

The intercom level is adjustable via the front panel. The installation manual, which your installer should have, has the details.

I wish he did! We couldn't see how to do it, and he didn't know.

Anyone got a KX155A manual I can borrow?!
