Graduate - What next?
Hello all!
Im currently in my second year of my Bsc computer science degree expecing either a 2:1 or 2:2 and thinking about the aviation engineering industry as a possible career. I am very practicially minded and do like to get hands dirty. (ie restoring old cars etc) If I was to persue this as a career what would be the most sensible next move? I have been looking over various forums about this issue and from what I can gather, there is more than one option available to me and I am slightly confused! Do I need to get the relivant licences before anyone will employ me? Am I looking to go in bottom of the pile? Does my degree help in anyway whatsoever?! If someone could try to clarify some of these issues up, it'd be much appreicated. Thanks, James |
How about going for the EASA Part 66 licence? See link below for training routes.
