2005 Pay Rise
 

So what the news around the airlines with regards to Xmas bonuses or pay rises this year? Hear Virgin Engineering have been given 3% from April 2005. Anyone else got one?

BA got 2.5% for 2004 backdated to October 2003, plus 1/2 weeks basic as a cash payment.

Jan 05 they get RPI which was 3.3% on 1st October 2004 plus a further weeks basic as a cash payment (payed in October 2005)

Jan 06 RPI as at October 2005 plus a further weeks basic as a cash payment (payed in October 2006)

The cash payments do not accrue on to your basic pay nor are they pensionable, they are also underpinned to a minimum of £1000.

CX got the 13th month bonus and rumours abound about 2.5-4% rise, depending on how nice you are to your manager!;)
