Any suggestions
 

I am an Aircraft engineer with 10 years heavy base mintenance experience, 1 year Q/A.
I feel i need to leave the company that I am working for.
The problem is that it is the only aircraft related company in the area I am living in, I wont move becouse of marriage, kids and being settled in the area.
What job options do I have outside the industry, 'on the tools' job preferably.
Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.

Well if you are open to new things why not try a tech rep. Leasing companies are always looking for experienced people to inspect aircraft on their behalf. Assuming you don't mind some travel of course.

A well known aviation magazine had some representative vacancies posted the other week.
