Contracting & limited companies

Is it still possible to operate as a connie using a limited company? Or is it better to use an umbrella company such as (in the UK) Prosperity 4 or OrangeGenie.com?

Rav, I've always used an 'umbrella Ltd' company for 'contracting' as i've only contracted 5-8 mths of the year, for longer term contracting setting up your own Ltd company may prove more beneficial in the long term. Its all a question of financial expedience. If your contracting in the U.K PM me and I can send you a couple of of useful contact numbers for the 'umbreller Ltd'.
