Alright lads,

dont know if this is your kinda thing or if you guys have already done it at college,
what I need to do is a project for college, (currently studying Aero Eng) which has something to do with aircraft maintenance or design.
it could either be improving the design of something in the hanger or on the aircraft or making a new piece of equipment for the hanger or a/c!
Any ideas?

Assuming that you are at Glasgow University, go and talk to the good Dr Houston, I know with certainty that somebody sent him a list of such projects in the last few weeks.

Have you contacted any of the maintenance facilities at GLA? They might have something worthwhile for you. I dare say they'd be happy to give you something if it was available.

Why not try re designing the hydraulic rudder swivel joint for the Tornado F3, or at least an easy way of getting the bloody thing out.:*
