A319 Spoiler PCU big spanner
There's a large 1" bi-hex nut on the 319 Spoiler PCUs that is a bugger to remove. Is there a specific spanner designed to make the job easier? A socket only fits in a couple of the bays and a spanner can't move 1/12th of a turn without hitting something. Is there a cranked 1" available or has anyone made something for the task?
Thanks. |
Is there nothing listed in the AMM special equipment list or is this a work around to avoid dismantling other bits?

Probably barely a dozen Metric parts on an Airbus.
I've no access to the AMM from home. I thought maybe someone had already done this task before and had some insight. |
How about a Crowsfoot or an Offset split ring?
Had to modify a number of my tools over the years to get at awkward nuts or bolts. Never the Snap-On ones but I used cheap ones for specials. |
There is a specific Tooling and GSE manual called TEM in AirN@v Repair.......maybe worth a look in there.
