supersonic drag make up
Hi, can someone point me to a piece of text or book that has the drag build up / contribution of a plane flying beyond mach 1. If everything is designed to stay within the mach cone, can this be done simply, i.e. pencil and paper on a table? Best regards Mark

Like many people I'm working at home in these times of plague, and those books are locked in my office, but my two go-to books on that subject would be either "Aerodynamics for Engineering Students" by Houghton and Carpenter, or "Introduction to Flight" by Anderson. Definitely the first one, the second I know my way around less well, but is probably the more accessible if it's covered.

I'm sure there's something in this but for the life of me I can't find my copy at the moment.

Geoff Duke's " The Sound Barrier" as well as A C Kermode and what Genghis suggested.
