Conical camber
Hi,
You've probably read about the F-106 & Concorde and the conical camber on their wings. What is conical camber? Is this a drooping of the outer leading edge so the tip is washed out in relation to the root and makes use of the upwards airflow coming onto the wing? Regards Mark |

The definition is at the top of page 10-25 in that paper:
Known as conical camber, the surface was cambered so that the geometry was straight along rays through the apex of the wing. |
