Getting non EASA maintenance type courses recognized
I hold a Canadian M1 and M2 license as well as an FAA A&P. I am currently writing the EASA part 66 B1 exams. I currently work for a company that has EASA part 145 approvals, and they will issue me a letter to get my part 66 license. What I want to know is how do I then get my current endorsements recognized? Can I take an EASA recurrent training course on the aircraft types? It is crazy that I would need to sit another full type course after having years of experience and approved Transport Canada type courses.

You will need to have EASA part 147 Certificates of Recogition for the types you wish to add to support the application. There is no mutual recognition.
have a read of part 66. |
