Aeronautical Engineering - distance learning

Hi,

Firstly, I am a UK NPPL/EASA-LAPL. So, my apologies for stepping on any toes here on a professional pilots forum. However, it is here that I feel I may find an answer to my question.

I work offshore in the commercial diving world as a Life Support Supervisor, typically four weeks on - four weeks off. I am interested in pursuing some formal training, working toward an aeronautical engineering qualification, a degree perhaps??

My job makes it difficult to attend college/Uni part-time, but by the same token, allows me to study during my free time at work, and of course at home.

Can anyone recommend a viable route? I have just started looking, and have asked for an O.U. prospectus here in the UK. Any advice/experience in this field would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Rich,
Your request is quite vague in that you don't specify what you want to do!
Do you want to maintain, fly or design aircraft with your dream degree?
