Qatar airways engineering

Any one had a interview with Qatar airways engineering in the last few months? I have and I am still waiting for a reply, is this their way of saying thanks but no thanks.

Any facts on the pay and such? would welcome any input from any overworked under paid engineers

Oddjob's under taken at good rates:confused:

At least you got an interview.

They didn't bother to answer most people who applied. Word is they are waiting to see what people are expecting as a package or should I say how low they can get away with.
The have cheap South Africans & Asians but need Eurpoean experience for the expansion & introduction of the 380, only thing is they don't want to pay.

Apparently they pay less than Emirates & they are not good.

Thanks you rearly know how to chear me up and I thought they were going to be good rates to be had,or is it I will be had if I go.
Anyway thanks for the replys. It is a hard world at the moment unless you are a rotorhead! Mind you from my couple of years on helicopters the only time they are safe is when they on the ground and nothing is moving!!!!!!!!!

TTFN:(

Qatar Awys are pretty screwed up as a company, did a 3 mth stint as a connie out there in 98, Doha not the most exciting place to be either.

Helis...bumble bee theory..no one has told them that theoretically they should not fly!
