What do mean these abreviations?

Tom! 31st Aug 2014 11:57

you mean something like this:
http://www.b737mrg.net/downloads/b737mrg_electrical.pdf

More detail in the book available on that website or the iPad app.

If you do not know what the abbreviations stand for, then why do you want the information?

boeing_eng 31st Aug 2014 16:03

Euclidessn it would be useful if you explain why you want this info in the first place.

Anyone officially involved in the maintenance of these types of aircraft won't be asking for information like this on a public forum. Ditto for anyone who flies them.

Hi..

I'm pilot of b737/738. During ground training we usually hear about some problems that crew use to deal beyond the QRH scope during flight, regarding electrical failures. I think that if the pilot could have a reference of equipments that are conected with respective buses, it should be usefull to figure out what equipment he will loose in the case of bus failure.

For exemple, we had a situation in one airline where a failure in the battery bus cause the two pack lights to iluminate. The pilots spent some time to understand why it was happening and had some doubt about the pressurization control, because even reestoring the power for that bus, pack lights were still iluminated due to section 2 of the bus remained with a tripped cb.

Euclidessn,

I wholeheartedly agree with Boeing eng. If you really need this info, then, perhaps a phone call or visit to your engineering and maintenance facility will gain all the info you require.

McHale.

I'll second that...Have a word with your Engineers (they will be able to give you copies of the system schematics)

seems so mysterious...

there are a lot of websites like b737.uk for instance and others, that provide alot of information (non official, ok) about all aircraft systems with so many details, even here in this forum threre are so many information about everything, and I dont understand why I cant find that one. It doesnt make sense for me....

....but ok, thanks anyway.

boeing_eng 2nd Sep 2014 18:50

It's not mysterious......Like any other Engineer who is legitimately involved with the maintenance of Boeing aircraft, I have access the info you mention via a Boeing website. However, each time I log onto that website I'm reminded Mr Boeing would prefer it if I didn't give the world access to his info! So, can you expect someone who doesn't know you to pass on that info!?

Euclidessn 3rd Sep 2014 01:25

As I said.... Me, and everyone are able to find a lot of information with details about Boeing aircraft systems on internet.... take a look on The Boeing 737 Technical Site, and I dont even kwnow them, I don't even have any password, and of course I don't want any Boeing's maintenance website password.

I'm just surprised that this topic is already huge and I haven't gotten a simple information although in some websites I can get so many ones....... but, anyway. I will try to contact somebody here in the company.

Thanks
