Standard for using smaller gauge wire in size 22D crimp contact

Is there a standard (MIL, IPC or other) stating how to use smaller gauge wire in a size 22D crimp contact? The size 22D contact is designed for 22 - 28 awg wire, but constraints require the use of the smaller 30 awg, so I need to know how to properly fill the crimp area of the contact.

There is in the Boeing SPWM but i've never come across 30 gauge wiring in a Boeing!

You can also get contact inserts in some cases to use an oversized contact.

What are you using this on?

Pin/socket? Usually otherwise the smp is to fold over the wire or solder and crimp. Freaking manufactures, lite wire is great for their aircraft sales but is hell on troubleshooting crap problems. To many problems with factory instal's due to the simple nature of delicate wire. They are pushing hard on the limit of common sence, in their benifit increasing MX problems early in the aircraft's life, lowering reliability. ALL Job SECURITY for ME!
