FAA A&P license count towards B1 or B2 ??

I am an airline mechanic in USA with 25 years heavy jet experience. 747, 767, 757, 727, DC8, MD11, A300. Would I be able to use this experience to obtain B1& B2 ratings? What would be my best route to take to obtain these EU ratings? Thanks

FAA to EASA part 66

There is no crossing over from A&P to EASA part 66!
Your work experience may be recognised if presented properly in a work experience logbook!
You must take all theory exams again, which are for the B1.1 licence Maths, Physics, Electrics, Electronics, Digital, Hardware, Maintenance practices, Aerodynamics, Human Factors, Legislation, Airframe, Turbine Engines, & Propellers as a multiple choice exam. Each exam in the US will cost you around $100 for example in Orlando! You must also write essays 2ea for Maintenance practices and 1ea for Human Factors and 1ea for legislation!
The EASA part 66 licence means studying for it!
