Apprenticeships.?

Hello, I´m New to this Forum, And I would like to get some help about the apprenticeship, I am going to TEC next year? I have heard that the courses there are about 3 month´s then you got and work at the company you have an Apprenticeship with?

Can anyone tell me how this works?

Then I should start to apply for Apprenticeships.?
