Mature Age AME Apprenticeship/Training

Hi all. I'm hoping somone might be able to help.

I have spent most of my working life in the electronics/electrical fields and mostly Fire Detection & Suppresssion. I began in my industry as an installer, then on through service technician, commissioning technician, coordinator, supervisor, etc etc however all self taught with no 'formal' qualies, I'm sure you get the picture ;)

I am 47 and in recent years have wanted to leave my industry and train for a new and challenging role in another industry. My first choice is as an AME.:ok:

I dont wish to bore eveyone silly :bored: with all the background details however what I am looking for is anyone that might be able to offer information on whether this is achievable and any contacts that might be able to help over here in Perth.

Thanks all, and I appreaciate any help you might be able to give.

Please ask away if more background skills information is required.

Cheers
Craig

You only made one spelling mistake! You are literate: good sign. You got any teenage kids around 16 or know how they behave?
