Stator vane identity?
Hello. Just a quick one.
One of our skippers is retiring and I've got a stator vane as a plinth for a model aircraft that will be a retirement present. The part number is b516434. Does anyone know which engine it came off of? Cheers |

Rolls Royce + US Navy is a good start. The Naval Inventory Control Point Philadelphia intends to solicit proposals for the subsequent award of a 3 year Performance Based Logistics Contract for the repair and/or replacement of various F402 engine (AV-8B Harrier Aircraft Program) components, and provision of consumable piece parts, to include but not limited to the following sample of items: ………… LPC1 Vane, NSN 2840-99-573-1678, P/N B516434; … = Pegasus. |
Thanks for that info.
It has come via an engine repair facility in the UK and has had TIG repairs to worn edges. Anyway, looks lovely when all polished up. |
Knew a bunch of ex United guys who would have out of service fan blades cleaned up and plated/mounted for retiree's. Really cool...
