146 Training
I need to attend a 146 B1 course before the end of the year and cannot decide between 2 available training companies. Cost is not a problem. I see that Manhattan and OAA, both in the NW provide courses, but the difference in course length has me confused. OAA B1 course 30-odd days, but Manhattan only 19 days. Has anyone who has attended courses at either of these establishments be kind enough to give their opinion on quality etc. Thanks.

Maybe one has OnJobTraining and the other doesn't?

I did a 146/RJ B1 course at FLYBE, Exeter 3 years ago.
I think it was 22 days for the 146 plus 3 days for RJ differences. Don't know if they are still doing them. Hope this helps. |

I did my 146 course in Exeter in 2000 and was a good enjoyable course but did the rj differences at klm in Norwich both courses were good:ok:

Flybe Training Academy still do perform the BAe146/RJ B1 & B2 type courses. Unfortunately, a 146 B1 course is on the go right now but if you call this number below, ask to speak to Mr P. Swain (Manager) or Mr S. Chester (146/RJ instructor) at the Training Academy, I'm sure they can advise on spaces/costs & location for the next one.
Additionally, I recommend the B1 course. He knows the aircraft. +44 (0) 1392 366669 Flybe.com - Technical Training Regards BAe146 |
