Hi I;m a South African caa license avionic engineer and want to do a B2 license.Looking for info on how,where,how much and if any buddy can help me with study material.I work on outattions all over the word and see a B2 as a good future plan.

Pedantry possibly, but that's City of Bristol College. Bristol University is a completely separate organisation.

Thankyou for info on bristol ,i had a look but i,m nearly 20 years in aviation and 3 years full time course will destroy me.I am prepaired for a self study course and then to go and write the exams.

I am studying the 3 year course @ city of bristol, just going into the final year now, the college also do operate short courses, these courses are for individuals who have experience and basically want there modules. each module comes with 1 - 3 weeks tuition (depending on the module) and course notes with the exam at the end of the tuition period. im not 100 % sure of the cost but each module is individually priced and is a fast track way of getting them. i dont think it is posted on there web site but they do offer these courses from jan - aug each year.

the 3 year course is for peoplelike myself trying to get into the industry.

give a guy called Ian Kingsbury a call (the college administrator) and he will help you out. The number is 0117 312 5000 ask for aero engineering

you can get the B1 questions on CD off ebay in the UK, will some of the sections not be common with the B2?
