b1 b2 database for CAA exams
Hi there
Can anybody tell me which exam question database website I should use if I want to write the CAA exams at Gatwick. As I understand they are different depending on where you write and with which college or training school you use. |

Good question. Its true, each NAA, Our UKCAA and all Part 147 Basic Training Organisations have their own Part 66 ATA Level 1,2,3 Exam Database. The club66 website is fit for purpose WRT UKCAA for practice purposes only. Don't go thinking it encompasses the complete set for a given module. The ELD are aware of what is in the public domain & :. quite manipulative in examination wording, I would even go as far as saying pedantic. Some supposed distractors are far too close to call. At present, I am not satisfied with a recent examination question I faced and have raised my concerns at an official level. Refer below for information regarding EASA's proposal to produce a fixed Part 66 examination database for use of all NAAs. If a level playing field is to exist through each European NAA, how else can EASA do it?? NOT by allowing one extreme 'soft' NAA to our extreme 'elite' NAA. http://www.easa.eu.int/doc/Rulemakin...ToR_66_007.pdf Regards BAe146??:{ :{ |
Club66 is quiet a good revision tool, however the levels of questions are not always to that of the license you are taking, for example, if for example Module 4, Chapter 1.3 calls for Level 2 learning for the B1 candidates, you may well find some Level 3 quetsions in the bank that the B2 guys will sit!, so, be aware of that.
Don't do what a lot of guys do, and just learn the questions/answers, as Bae146...mentioned, the exam centres know about this and do change wordings etc to catch you out, if you don't know the subject matter. It is however a great tool to use pre-examination to get you thinking along the lines of the exams, what can they ask etc.... There are alternatives to Club66, Airmech.co.uk for example is a great forum, and has a question bank on it, availible to members :ok: |
Thanks for the info, will go in with open eyes, thanks again
